Hoflman is completely unbelievabl as the ex-husband of Russo's characte and becomes increasingly annoying i his stubborn quest for justice. "Outbreak contains moments in which his chara< ter could have been bumped off to in prove the storyline. Russo, Freeman and Gooding giv serviceable performances, but all ar subjected to playing lip service to line such as "I got a case of the willies ? Al? though your local theater might not come > equipped with a medical crew or mad, l~ hysterical crowds, remember that "Outbreak" is only a test of your endurance e of bad cinema.
