Taneyhill also showed a little flash of the flamboyant player of seasons past by stomping on the Tiger Paw as the game wound down. "Our offense put up the points we needed, but our defense really stepped it up," Taneyhill said. "One drive is all (Clemson) had all game. The same happened two years ago. Our senior class and junior class are 2-0 up here and were really proud of that." South Carolina had trouble getting started despite Taneyhill throwing for 191 yards and a touchdown in the first half.
