"It'll be a great bar to go to in the spring." "Rough Draught is a 'Cheers' type place where you can go with a few friends, relax and have a few beers," junior Lance Carruth said. Of course there are always a few people who aren't as easy to please. "I went there opening night because they said they were giving away free T-shirts, but it was only a raffle," junior Neil McGarry said. "The chances of winning were astronomical!" Blues Traveler is a bluesbased band but only in the sense that all modern music is influenced by the blues. You can hear the allusions to Zeppelin and the Dead, but Blues Traveler pulls them off without sounding cliched. The heavy-set John Popper, with his big lung capacity, ef fortlessly shapes the sounds that come from the mouth in a manner that makes words like "genius," "virtuoso" and "wizard" come to mind. Tonight's show is likely to have a Grateful Dead feel, with a lot of sweaty people dancing and having a good time.
