Political cand From Staff Reports Lieutenant governor candidates Mike Daniel and Norma Russell will square off Tuesday night at USC in the only statewide debate of the 1982 S.C. general election. The debute between Daniel, a Democrat, and Russell, a Republican, is sponsored by the Clariosophic Literary Society and will be televised on S.C. Educational Television. Questions asked by the audience will be screened by an impartial panel to ensure the questions are not redundant or slanted toward one candidate. The debate will begin at 8 p.m. Tuesday night in Gambrell Auditorium. Admission is by invitation only. nnn SEVERAL COMPANIES will be on the USC campus this week to interview students interested in employment. Today, Data General Corp. will interview majors in electrical and computer engineering, mechanical engineering and computer science. Policy Management Systems will interview students interested in insurance, management science and computer science.
