Engelmayer, 41, was a member of USC's first exchange delegation of five students and four faculty members to Shanxi Province in northern China. The Myrtle Beach resident died in his sleep Saturday night or Sunday morning while on an overnight train trip from the city of Chengtu (Qengtu) in Szecwan Province to Chungking (Qungqing) with tive other members of the USC delegation, according to university officials.
