Crowd \ back tc By Cindy Dean Staff Writer Former hostage William Belk was welcomed home Wednesday by more than 15,000 people waving American flags and yellow ribbons along the Knox Abbott Drive motorcade route. The West Co'umbia resident was reunited with about 100 family members in a private reception before leaving in a 20-car motorcade for a press conference at Carolina Coliseum. People lining the motorcade route held signs proclaiming "Welcome Home William," and "We Love You Belk." Every day they told us how bad our government and our religions were," Belk said.
