By Robert Crockett Staff Writer University of South Carolina's men's swimmers destroyed Florida State Saturday, while the Lady Gamecocks had possibly their finest weekend this season despite loses to both Florida and Texas Sunday. Despite a weatherconditioned Florida team, the Gamecocks, placed by ' Bill Humby's two first place finished in the 1000-yard freestyle (9:43) and 500-yard freestyle (4:38), overpowered the Seminoles, winning 70-43.
