Carolina's men's swimmers
destroyed Florida State
Saturday, while the Lady
Gamecocks had possibly
their finest weekend this
season despite loses to both
Florida and Texas Sunday.
Despite a weatherconditioned
Florida team,
the Gamecocks, placed by '
Bill Humby's two first place
finished in the 1000-yard
freestyle (9:43) and 500-yard
freestyle (4:38), overpowered
the Seminoles,
winning 70-43.
Robbi Bedford finished

Steve Sproule won the 200yard
breastroke (2:10) and

ways to seal a USC victory.
