Sports briefs T ennis team h By Richard Meyers Afifilttant SriArU Writnr THE USC MEN'S tennis team will host the eighth annual USC Fall Tennis Team Championships this weekend. South Carolina, N.C. State, Wake Forest, Clemson, Minnesota, Tennessee, North Carolina, and Duke will be the eight teams competing. Matches begin at 9 a.m. on Friday and will conclude with the finals Sunday at the Sam Daniel and Maxcy-Gregg Courts. USC will face N.C. State at 1 p.m. Friday at Sam Daniel. THE USC SPOUT PARACHUTE Club sponsored and competed in a meet this past weekend in Lugoff. Several members of the USC club fared well in the competition, including Mark Wikman who finished sixth in accuracy.
