THE USC MEN'S tennis team will host the eighth annual
USC Fall Tennis Team Championships this weekend.
South Carolina, N.C. State, Wake Forest, Clemson,
Minnesota, Tennessee, North Carolina, and Duke will be
the eight teams competing. Matches begin at 9 a.m. on
Friday and will conclude with the finals Sunday at the Sam
Daniel and Maxcy-Gregg Courts.
USC will face N.C. State at 1 p.m. Friday at Sam Daniel.
THE USC VOLLEYBALL team will be competing in the

two-day event which begins today will be hosted by the
College of Charleston.
THE USC SPOUT PARACHUTE Club sponsored and
competed in a meet this past weekend in Lugoff.
Several members of the USC club fared well in the
competition, including Mark Wikman who finished sixth in
accuracy. USC's Curtis Christian and Wally Romero, who
were jumping in their first meet ever, finished eighth and
eleventh in the accuracy division.

THE USC MEN'S basketball team will hold its second
open-to-the public scrimmage Saturday at 7 p.m. in the
Coliseum. Admission is free.
SATURDAY'S 13-10 loss to Georgia lifted USC into the
number 13 position in the U.P.I, coaches' poll this week.
