Rep. Bill Campbell of Columbia had proposed earlier a $5.5 addition to the bond bill to replace the USC computer, but the Senate, later lowered the figure to $1.75 million. Finally a joint House and Senate .conference committee settled on $2.5 million, In order to get the money, USC will still have to get approval from the state Budget and Control Board and Bond Review Committee when the legislature reconvenes. Sen. John Drummond of Greenwood, who filibustered in an eitort 10 remove tne enure computer authorization, believes Rep.
