Ohio kn By Steve Riddell Oamtcock Staff Wrttar Homecoming means different things to different people. To some people, it means Duucung floats for the parade and crowning a Homecoming queen. Some see it as a great big party. f However, when most football teams consider Homecoming, they think of it as an easy game. Carolina's Homecoming game this year was exactly what it was supposed to be: an easy win. They dumped Ohio by a score of 24-7. "Our next three games will be very tough, so I really didn't pump them up for this game." CARLEN DID not have much praise for Ohio after the game. "Ohio is not a good football team, and I never said they were/' said Carlen. "They have some good people, but we just have better personnel," he said. ] Ohio University first year coach Bob Kappes was not in a good mood after the fi game. The girls had flowers, the band put on a big half time show and the home team won an easy, uninspired victory. sfr^^wWvs ?^?t I Sttphffl McCormKk - OAMgCOCK Ips for Fall *78 I I le, N.C.
