Todd said two reasons for the closing were finances and con struction at the Russell House. Previously the number of students who frequented the Golden Spur during the summer was very small. Construction of the addition to the Russell House has made it difficult for students to find their way around. Part of the Golden Spur will be used during the summer months as a meeting room and a movie theatre. A few concerts are scheduled for the summer. No alcoholic beverages will be served at these functions.
