On these nights each girl may stay out until 2:00 a.m. by paying one penny for every minute she is out past the usual 1:00 a.m. cur few. The only restrictions are tha each girl must have the correc change and that no grace minute may be used. The funds collected will go to th AWS scholarship fund. Students are encouraged to enter the Great Pumpkin Contest by decorating a pumpkin which will be entered in competition with other pumpkins on the afternoon of Oct. 30, from 12 until 1 p.m. Entries will be judged on the basis of neatness, appearance and originality. First prize in the contest will be $15 and a trophy. (CONTINUED FRIDAY) PROMOTIONAL ITEMS Greater Columbia Chamber of Commerce Sports Committee Officials announced today that only a few USC Gamecock promotional items are still available at the chamber's 1308 Laurel St. headquarters. Approximately 2,000 bumper stickers, which read "This Is Gamecock Country," 89 posters, and 20 postage meter slugs are all that remains of the large quan tities which the chamber has been distributing during the past several weeks. Edgar Waters, chairman of the Sports Committee's Promotional subcommittee, said that demand for these items has been ex ceptional and added that in terested persons should make an effort to pick up these items within the next week. "We will not reorder any of these Items," Waters said, "so, both interested persons and businesses should should attempt to pick them up soon, before they are gone."
