A hand concert, presentation of awards and inauguration of the new student body president will highlight the ceremonies. The concert will get under way at 2 p.m. and will feature the Uni versity Symphonic land under di rector James 1). Pritchard. Awards presentation will begin :30 minutes later, with members of ODK and Mortar Boarl serving as ushers. Climaxing the event will lie announcement of the Algernon Sidney Sullivan award winners. The Sullivan award is given an nually to one male and one fe male student and to one non student, non-faculty member. It is for unselfish service to the Uni versity. Former recipients of the award have been invited for their first reunion, according to Alan John son, who will serve as master of ceremonies. Johnson also said steps have been taken to speed up this year's program. Varry Knobel, recently elected student body president, will be swoln into office and given the presidential gavel at the 'nd of the program. In case of bad weather, the pro gram -will be in Drayton Hall. Carbaugh, State Politi Two USC students have been elected to head statewide Young Democrats and Republicans. Cureton said that along with the statute which makes it a crime to l.estroy a flag, there is also one against mutilating a flag. Managing Editor Carolina women who live on campus will be more on their own starting with this year's summer school, according to Peggy Harley, president-elect of A s s o c i a t e d Women Students (AWS). Rules changes request forms were distributed in the lobbies of women's dormitories and the com pleted forms were screened by a committee. Those that did not clash with University regulations were sent to the AWS House. The bills that passed the House were sent to Dean of Women Elizabeth Clotworthy who ap proved them or returned them with changes for further consid eration, according to Mia Harley. Among the approved changes are: -South Tower will, like Cap stone, have no curfew. -Sophomore, junior and senior women in other dormitories will have unlimited date nights. They must be in by midnight during the week, by 2 a.m. Friday and Satur day and by 1 a.m. Sunday. -First s e m e s t e r freshmen women will have four (late nights per week. They must he in by midnight (luring the week and by I a.m. Friday, Saturday and Sun day. Scuderi said that his agency in vestigates only "big suppliers" because of problems with man power, search warrants and case loads-but can "not reveal any in formation if we get it."
