Ned Jar Carolina's rejuvenated Greek Week continues along its busy way this afternoon with the sixth edition of the Sigma Nu sponsored "Little 500" bicycle race for fra ternities. Carolina's Fi Chapters Ele Fraternities busied themselves with a variety of parties and the election of officers this week. PI1 KAPPA SIGMA Phi Kappa Sigma fraternity will honor its senior members with a passing out party on May 13 at Gibson's pond in Lexing ton. The Sands combo will provide music for the informal affair. P KAPPA ALPHA Ed Bond was recently re-elected president of Ii Kappa Alpha fra ternity. Newly elected officers include Ned Burke, vice president; Tii McCord, treasurer; Bobby McFad den, secretary; John Dolterer, ser geant at arms, and Louis Helms, historian. The winner will be announced shortly before race time. This will be the first year that the "Little 600" has been run as a part of Greek Week. All four teen fraternities and Maxey Brotherhood will enter five rid ers for first place trophy in the 2:30 p.m. bicycle race. Sororities will get into the act by engaging on a two-lap tri cycle race at 2 p.m. Last year's "Miss Little 500" Allyson Bell of Chi Omega so rority, will be on hand to crown the winner for this year. Each contestant is sponsored by a sorority, and winners are determined by penny vote cast in the Russell House. Contending this year for the title are Pam Dernoga, Alpha Delta Pi; Virginia Ann Reeves, Chi Omega; Mary Boyd Brown, Delta Delta Delta; Virginia Buck holz, Deltn Zeta; Barbara Huitt, Kappa Delta; Joanne Flowers, Pi Beta Phi; and Audrey Meyer, Zeta Tau Alpha. Other amusements scheduled by Sigma Nu for this afternoon include a car smashing, a clown dunking, and a pie-in-the-eye con test. Chi Psi fraternity is expected to peddle a hard race today in order to defend their winning title from last year's "Little 500." Presented by the Inter-Fratern ity and Panhellenic Councils as one of the Greek Week activities, the concert will be for fraternity and sorority members and their dates.
