Brazilian T< Exhibition ( A young Brazilian painter, N. Seoane, will be present at the opening of an exhibition of his paintings in the assembly room of Russell House Monday at 5 p.m. Seoane is visiting the United States under the auspices of the Requirements Told For Student Union Camp's Assistants Student Union is looking for male students who would be in terested in summer work at the It. The USC exhibition will last from May 9 until May 24. The unusual paintings have im pressed critics in Brazil and the United States by their imagina tive handling of nature. The world-famous Brazilian novelist and critic Jorge Anado wrote recently in praise of the young painter's creative talents. According to Anado, Scoane I"seems to have captured the whole of Brazilian nature, the tropics and the tender sweetness of the character of our people." USC faculty, staff, students and the general public are invited to view the canvases of Seoane. Preliminary arrangements for the Brazilian show were made by Henry H. Keith of the depart ment of history.
