KATHY (;E11MAN Favorite Three fraternities named the "girls of their dreams" recently: Kathy Gehman was named Sweet heart of Kappa Sigma, Lee Wilson was selected Lambda Chi Alpha Crescent Girl, and Barbara Langs ton was chosen Phi Kap Girl by Phi Kappa Sigma fraternity. Kappa Sigma Kathy Gehman was announceIl as the new Kappa Sigma Sweet heart last Friday at the annual Stardust Ball at the Rockbridge Country Club. Kathy is from Gritmo Bay, Cuba, and a sophomore in the School of Nursing. She is a mem ber of Pi Beta Phi Sorority and is pinned to post Grandi master, Jim Wallace. Outgoing Sweetheart was Sally Turner from Columbia. Kappa Sig new officers were installed Monday night and they include Grand Master, Randy Shirley; Grand Procurator, Ronnie Northeult; Grand Master of Cere monies. Bill Elliot; Grand Scribe, Thomas Young; Grand Treasurer, Mike Foster and Guards, Benny Jo Willimore and Bob Rivers. Also announced were best ac tive. I KAPPA Pill Pi Kappa Phi fraternity will host its annual Rose Ball tomorrow night at a local American Legion post. One of the highlights of the formal will be the crowning of the Imi; Rose Queen. Mr. (;eorge Bennett, county di rector of the project, spoke to stu (ents Monday night in the Busi ness Administration auditorium. A movie was shown at 7:30 p.m. for the girls and at 8 p.m. for the boys. The Sigma Chi's distributed posters and literature in Colum bia and publicized the V.D. movie on campus.
