The basketeers, under the direction of Coach Ted Petoskey, began practice the middle of November, with several new men out for the squad. The ranks of the team are expected to be further filled when football season is over and more athletes are available. Coach Petoskey has been giving the team intensive training at the night practices. For the first week or two the team was busy learning and prac ticidg the fundamentals of the gamie, but now the teami has been drilling on particular plays and practicing them in scrimmage. The team uses a fast breaking offense and a man-to-man de fense. Several freshman players have been working out with the varsity squad in order to be in shape if plans for a freshman team materialize. Gene Alex ander and T. C.
