Mr. Herbert to Law Men. The law association had the pleasure of hearing an interest ing and instructive address Thursday evening by Mr. R. Beverly Herbeht, a protninent member of .the Columbia bar. Mr. Herbert directed his re marks chiefly to the proper way of conducting a case. He show ed by illustrations the many mistakes a young lawyer makes and how he would later profit by them. His discussion of . how a cross-examination should be conducted was especially inter esting..
