Columbia, November 22:?The railroad commission to day seut Vice Priuident Kenly, of the Coast Line, the following ultimatum in regard to the new Pee Dee train: "Poar Sir- Ynnr lpfter. Novem ter 18, 1907, in reference to schedule of your passenger trains now running from Orangeburg to Lane's And from Sumter to Benoettsville, received. "After tho/oughly canvassing the situation this commission has decided that the new train should run from Sumter to Bennettsville, with the proper connection at night for ' train to MeColl, S. C., and that your train from Orangeburg, S. C., to Lane's S. C., should be continued to and from Florence, via Lanes and this train should be m operation to and from Florence on or by December 15, 1907, and continue for at least six (6) months. ( '"On'Tuesday evening, November, J9, 1907,at 5 o'clock, our community was again saddened when the angel of death swept through our midst and laid his icy hand upon our 'kind and beloved friend, Mrs. Sal 7 die .Waldron, the true and faithful wrife of J. J. Waldron. While she never was blessed with any children Mrs, Waldron was a mother to any aad all that came in touch with her. ' She was true and kind to everybody an4 a devoted wife. Her life, though one of the greatest suffering, was freely spent for the benefit and t*appinees of those around her and her a sufferings, often in the extreme, were kerns with true and Christian-lika " faith.
