Will you please allow me space in /our paper for an article clipped from The Reform Advocate, published at Florence? The Milk ?n the Cocoanut." "Much light-is thrown on the real Motive of Georgetown in her annual Ight in the Legislature against all sbad bills by the Georgetown correspondence in the State, written after ? the news that iMr Cause's shad bill had beeu continued until next session. gb It also accounts for the 'up-river' y people getting no shad, except w hat they buy at a high price form the P? fivoigetown dealers, js* The Georgetown correspondence t-' writes: "The news that the shad bill had been continued until next fe session was received with joy by the fish dealers today. This action p . means about $10,000 will be added to Georgetown's capital during the i fir la it any wonder, Mr Editor, that we people up the river can't catch any fish. The fishermen here at Monzous do not catch fish enough to pay them for thagv trouble. I hare known men to edgaf here from 15 or 20 miles and not be able to get f\ a fish, because there was none caugh t. ' Before Georgetown monopolized the ? fish trade, as they have, we used to get plenty of shad here. But, for the i*st few years we get very few. The people living on the rivers are not the only ones that are injured by f1 , the Georgetown dealers taking out r all the fish, bat people all over the State. We are not opposed to j . Georgetown's having a shaie of the & , fish, but we do object to her taking them all. We appreciate Mr Bass' 1 effort to give us relief and hope that he will renew his fight at the next session and that he may be succeas fui: 1 think it the duty of the peop ; pie of S. C., and especially of those 'Q.- who are interested in a shad bill to S& .iei the Legislature kuow what they want. I hope that at the next session of the Legislature the members will know what the people want, and that they will give us relief. We would like to hear from F wi others. llespectfully. Noddy. If the child urinates too often, If the urine scalds the flesh or If, when the child reaches an age when it should be able to control the passage, it Is yet afflicted with bed-wetting, depend upon it. the cause of the difficulty is kidney trouble, and the first sten should be towards the treatment of these important organs.
