Dial for the Uni ted States Senator over Cole L. Blease and Jarnes F. Rice. The latest news sent out from Colubrnia gave Mr. Dial' approximately 28,000 votes and Mr. Blease 14,000. While reports were not as full for the gubern.-torial race it was *tated with authority from Columbia that Mr. Cooper had a safe maj)rity of 10,000 votes over the field and was the nominee of the party fur governor. The outcome of the congressional race in this district seems rather uncertain. Nicholls is leading the field, but last night's returns indicated a second race between Nich olls and Bomar. Traxler headquarters in Greenville last night gave out the foilowing incomflete returnsfor the district Nicholls, 7,589; Traxler, 4.155 and Bornar 4,659 Meager reports indicated the election of Lever in the fifth district and Byrnes in the second district. . ,I Reports on other state offices could not be had last night.
