Farle Rountree and Angus Patterson returned this week from St. Louis, where they went to purchase a carload of stock for the Barnwell Live Stock Co. They have sold a large num ber of horses and mules in this and ad joining counties and the purchasers have been well pleased. Ir their ad vertisement today they announce 'the arrival of a carload of the best stock ever brought to Barnwell. Cave—Sexton. Invitations to the marriage of Miss Floride Cave and Dr. Ben Wofford Sexton were received by the friends of this popular young couple Wednesday morniAg. The ceremony will be per formed at the handsome home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. T. S. Cave, at five o’clock in the afternoon of Wednesday, November 12th. Pender of Allendale and G. H. Pender of Garnett, S. C. He \Vas a prosperous farmer of the Allendale section and was widely known. During the four years of the Civil War he rendered the ' Southern cause valuable service in the field, having served throughout the! strife.
