Deputy Sheriff H R Jones reported The bus was parked in the yard of Willie Bennett, Negro student at Sanders High School here. His family awoke to discover the; bus in flames, and members were) able to carry enough water to ex tinguish the flames before the bus was a total loss, officers said. Officials said later that the tires and motor could possibly be sal vaged The remaining portion of the bus was termed a total loss. Investigating officers said the fire definitely began at the siphon hose. They felt it might have been started ! by a carelessly tossed match or cig arette. Investigating with the deputy-! were Highway Patrolman Charles Harrison and SLED Agent Harold Fort.son COME IN and tee our cookbooks.
