The new team is Ninety Six and the game will be played here in Clinton on the night of September 9 as the opening game. The Red Devils look to be in fine shape and should not only be ready but should be raring to go in their first tilt. The game time for the first battle will be 8 o’clock. The high school eleven has found a good many new comers who should be reeling and rocking for CHS in the coming years. The most outstanding of the young up starts is one Brunson Asbill who is built like a small bull. Keep your eye on this boy and you will probably see the stages of development of an athlete. % Mrs. C. W.
