M, A Crime Under Novel Circum? stances.?The Delle ?larche gives an odd account of a woman named Marie Capanori, aged fifty-seven, who has had the bad taste to murder her husband, a man of seventy. So far, this sot was by no means an uncommon ono, bnt the crime becomes more novel when we learn that it was oommitted nnder the impulse of maternal affection. This conplo had a son, a soldier in the army, and the woman, being distressed at his1 long absence, inquired by what means Bhe oonld get him released from service, and was informed that ho would only be released when she became a widow. To remove the obstacle formed by her husband, she ono day pnshed him over a preoipioe, near the edge of which he was working. Although there was no proof of her guilt, she, nevertheless, strange to say, confessed all, when closely questioned by the authorities. It is scaroely necessary to add, that the worthy son will remain in the army, and his amiable mother be subjected to a little delicate restraint. "The lady with fifteen trunks" has really arrived at Saratoga. She was pro? nounced by one of the moat amiable oartmen of the locality a "dray de? ceiver." Bonds, Stocks, &c.
