Mr. J. B. Bratton has secured the agency for the exclusive sale of the Folliott Butter Separator for York county. Call on him and give him your order for the Separator and it will have the best attention. The factory agrees to pay a forfeit of $1,000 if the Separator does not do all they claim for it. The Folliott Manufacturing company makes eight different sizes, for two gallons up to 100 gallons and - - -ii wa the price is in tne reacn ui oji. guarantee the Separator will pay for itself in 180 days from the product of two cows on quality and quantity of butter made. It also saves 180 hours hard work at 10 cents per hour, which would be worth J18.00. This Separator is something new, but good. It is a complete revolution in the art of making. butter. The air is forced through the hollow shaft by the wheel In the bottom of the churn. It aeriates milk in five seconds and will keep from 10 to 18 hours longer perfectly sweet according to the time of year. The finest granulated butter is made in less than three minutes. If you have no cow, buy you a small separator and get a quart of 25 per cent cream and make' a pound of butter worth 50 cents a pound. You will then have the milk left for strawberries, toast and coffee. The milk is just as nutritious without the butter fat. All the fattening qualities, such as casein and sugars are left in the milk. The best doctors in the country recommend this milk for infants. With the butter fat out it is easily digested. The air passing through the cream purifies the milk Just as a running stream will purify itself on coming in contact with the air. The oxygen absorbs all impurities and is the only thing that will absorb bitter weed and onion. Every separator is sold under a guarantee that it does the work. Simple in construction, anyone can operate it. It is a marvel of perfection in the art of making butter. ^he-gorhuiUc flfotton $Rarhet. Corrected Semi-Weekly by Messrs. Latta Bros. What do yon buy ? When you buy commercial fertilizer do you stop to consider what you are buying? Do you know that in a ton of commercial fertilizer there is only from 200 to 800 pounds of available plant food? That you pay for and pay freight on from 1,200 to 1,800 pounds that are worthless? Then if this be true, and it is, why not buy the chemicals?the plant food ?from me, and add the "filler" at home? I am prepared to furnish you with the necessary chemicals?the plant food?to make a ton of fertilizer?the equal of the commercial goods?for the small sum of $2.00. What is a "filler"? It is simply an earthy substance that is worthless so far as plant food is concerned?it may be ground stone, brick-bats, coal cinders, sand or other substance of like nature?but it is nil as a plant food. Watch this space for testimonials from practical and successful farmers who have used home-made fertilizers with good results for past two years. W. A. YOUNGBLOOD, R. F. D. No. 4, Rock Hill, S. C. FOUSHEE ( (Dobson's Yorkvi MY METHODS ARE FAIR AND SQUARE BECAUSE I DO YOUR BUSINESS BEFORE MAKING CHARGES. Some ' think a broker should spend time and , money placing property before the pub' lie, and let the owner or some one else sell it and leave him out, which would not be just. It is also difficult for a broker to "stand pat", and command best figures when there are others working on the same deal, cutting prices for both profit and glory. To do business, we must have stock in trade, the larger, the better, as customers . usually go where they can find what they want. Listing property with a broker does not do it or the owner any i injury, as titles remain with the owner until it is sold. It is a broker's interest to conduct business in a satisfactory manner to all interested, as his success depends on the words of others. Clients should furnish complete and honest descriptions of what they wish to buy or |g sell, so interested parties will find it as represented. Propositions, and not all questions are the main factor to transactions. I am a high buyer for a code which will teach how to transact business with questions only. Drive propositions and let questions rest, if you want success and pleasure. Say what you will do and if it is not accepted, it is no fault of yours. My object is to ' do business as speedily as possible, but must have a customer, or nothing can be done. Read what some of my Clients have to say: Nacogdoches, Tex., Jan. 11, '04.
