Mr. Fred Hill and Mr. Henry Du Pre attended the Schriners meeting in Columbia Thanksgiving day. Mr. Miller has been transferred to Macon, Ga., where he will be assistant cashier in the Com pany's offices there. Mrs. Will S. DuPre and her child ren left Monday for Atlanta, where they will spend some time with Mrs. F. A. Eigerman. Mrs. Jas. A. Hill and Master Rich ard Hill were in Columbia several days last week the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Mose Neatley. Rev. G. E. Edwards, of Bishopville, was in the city last Tuesday the guest of Mr. and Mrs. M. T. Coleman. He was en route to Anderson to at tend the annual conference. Mr. Ed wards has a host of friends here and may be assured always of a warm wel come. Mr. J. F. Hammond spent Thanks giving day with his brother, Mr. Sam Hammond near the city. Dr. C. A. Milford attended (he Schriners meeting in Columbia last week. Mr. Fred C. Link was in rho city for a few hours last week. Mr. LinK has recently been promoted, having been made Fuel Inspector of the en tire division of the Seaboard Air Line with headquarters in Portsmouth, Va. Mrs. M. T. Coleman left Tuesday for Charleston where she goes to make an address before t'.-.e State convention of the U. D. C.'s. Mrs. Coleman will be the guest of Mrs. Julius Visanska while in that city. Mr. and Mrs. Samuel J. Thomas, of Denver, Col., have been in the city for the past week the guests of Judge and Mrs. R. E. Hill. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas left Monday for Gainesville, Fla., where they will spend the win ter. Mr. Harry B. Wilson and Mr. Joe A. Wilson were in Columbia Thanksgiv ing day for the Schriners meeting.
