She was fifty years old and has been a member of the Methodist Church, forty years. Besides her husband she leaves sixteen children and eighteen grandchildren, with a host of friends who look back on her life as an example. She lived to see most of those children enter into the service of the church, as workers in the Sunday School. As the death summons came when the preachers were at conference, Prof. Pearce, conducted the burial services at the cemetary at Fork Creek Church, where she was a member. Those who who were off at different schools from this community, spent Thanksgiving at home. The supper given by the Angelus school for raising money for the school was a success. $118.00 was raised and one cake brought $60 of the amount. The Rally Day at Rocky Creek church was well attended and everybody speaks well of its manager, Mr. James Clark, of Ruby, being Sunday School Superintendent. There will bo two new stores erected at Anorelus in the near future. Mr. W? B. Sullivan and Mr. T. J. Knight have had pneumonia in their families but all are well at present. Rev. Jctman having bfeen returned to his Jefferson charge, we are very | happy to have him. Mr. T. J. Knight is now the proud owner of a new OverUnd touring car, also Mr. Walder Miles a Ford. I The Clark School is full to over| flowing and Miss Bessie Osborne is j faithfully conducting the work, as I she is experienced and knows what is ^ best* in a school.
