These officials consider the net rellts of the dny very satisfactory, as bout 600 acres were pledged to be anted in melons of the two varieties. The railroads proposition is this, riefly stated: The bol weevil is comfy, and while some cotton will connue to be raised in this county, it ill no longer do as the only money op. There is a pood market for mtaloupes and watermelons.
