That was a great day at Pageland
,st Monday when the Seaboard and
. & L. officials met about 500 of our
iost progressive farmers and, after
fine barbecue, furnished by the rail>ads,
discussed the planting of
atermelons and cantaloupes for
loney crops.
These officials consider the net rellts
of the dny very satisfactory, as
bout 600 acres were pledged to be

The railroads proposition is this,
