Chesterfield and the other towns along the O. & L. are in need of double daily passenger service, it the passenger service is inaugurated then the mail service could easily be arranged. Magistrate M. S. Watson was en' gaged in hearing Tuesday several I cases against negroes for. fighting at 1 a church a few days ago. One defendant was fined $25. Mr. Watson has served only one term as Magistrate at Chesterfield and retires voluntarily early in the new year.
