One of the most beavrtiful weddings ever held in Chesterfield tnd first to be solemnized at St. Paul's Methodist church, wa? that of Miss Myrtle Poston, the charming daughter of Rev. and Mrs. T. II. Owen, to Mr. Ira 0. Kedfearn. The church was beautifully d?c crated with ribbons, ferns and lowers, under the direction of Mrs. W? P. Odom and Miss Jrace Hurst and Miss Theo Jrtman. The color scheme was ;reen and white. The altar was formed as a pyramid with a silver candelabra on the top. Candles were placed around the ;hancel among the greens that were entwined around the altar tnd wainscoating. At seven )'clock the candles were lighted it the first strains of music, then ihe lights were turned off leavng the altar alone illuminated ay the candles, giving a charmng effect.
