The arch spirit of irony seems

causing errors to be made where
east desired. It must have been
ihis spirit that caused the omisnon
of one line in an article last
veek describing the work of the
3t. Paul Sunday school. This
ine contained the name of Mrs

falls to the lot of very few Sunlay

tnd first to be solemnized at St.
Paul's Methodist church, wa?
that of Miss Myrtle Poston, the
charming daughter of Rev. and
Mrs. T. II. Owen, to Mr. Ira 0.

The church was beautifully d?c
crated with ribbons, ferns and
lowers, under the direction of
Mrs. W? P. Odom and Miss
Jrace Hurst and Miss Theo
Jrtman. The color scheme was
;reen and white. The altar was
formed as a pyramid with a silver
candelabra on the top. Candles
were placed around the
;hancel among the greens that
were entwined around the altar
tnd wainscoating. At seven
)'clock the candles were lighted
it the first strains of music, then
ihe lights were turned off leavng
the altar alone illuminated
ay the candles, giving a charmng
effect.
