Brown and his vigilant members and friends invited the Annual Church School and Missionary institute of the (Spartanburg district of the S. C. Methodist conference to convene i n Glover Chapel M. The j collections averaged about $15.00 a a service. The weather was balmy and pleasant throughout the session. Big relishable dinners were supplied by the St. James M. Wesley, York, M. Clover chapel, Mt. Olive, Holiness, Clover, Zion, - Green Pond M., Flat Rock Baptist and Mt. Harmony churches. The many homes provided for the C convention's comfort were beautiful, attractive and ample. p, The brotherhood, the society and the contacts were a little less . than raptuous, and sublime. He pastorcd he College Place Circuit in the ears'of 1925 to 1930 and in that icriod bought an acre of land at ne^polnt and built an edifice and ceded, and consecrated the s&me o the great A. M. E.
