He delivered the Ordination sermon at the Methodist Annual Conference in Otangeburg last Sunday morning and returred to Atlanta Monday in company with Bishop and Mrs. Flipper. Mhs Lillian E. Thompson, grad uate of Allen university in 1938 was among the visitors here during the Homecoming game. Miss Thompson is now teaching at caster Training School,^ Lafvcas*ter, S. C. THE AURORA SOCIAL CLUB ThP club held' its regular meeting at the home of Mr. Horace Gninn, with Prof. W. H. Gaines * as host. The meeting was opened by the president. The minutes., of the last meeting were read and approved. The reports of the committee, with Mr. Fewell as chairmen hog made nlnns for the basket ball teams. Thp social com mdtte& reported that the first social function will be a pro-Christmas ball. December 22. The place of the affair has not been deckled at this meeting.
