It possessed the spirit of peace and good-will to men. Santa Claus arrived in our town a week before Christinas and ' ailed about 2,000 white and colored children from the city schools to greet them and give them a truck load of fruit. That was indeed a glorious afternoon for both the young and adults. All were sat isfied at the close of that event.
