The lecture, together with a hree reel feature film, "Troubles of Merchant, and IIow to Stop Them," /ill be given Friday night, March st, at 7:30 o'clock in the Court ] louse. W. J. The retail merchandising lecture,, /hieh has been prepared by The lational Cash Register Company, is eclared to be one of the most comtrehensive lectures on the reasons or retail business failures ever prepared, and has been shown before ommercial bodies, conventions, and ther organizations the country over. By means of stereopticon slides, the ;cture deals with the value of newsaper advertising to the merchant, ells him how to prepare advertiselents, and also explains in detail the est methods of window display, how a solve delivery problems, perfect a tore organization, and other intersting ideas. r The feature film. The film tells the story of Mr. Vhite, a grocer, who was discourged and distheartened because of his ick ot success. The story shows the ^difference of his clerks, his bad tore systems, his poorly arranged tock, and other causes of his trollies. How he finally rose to success ml prosperity through the introducion of modern methods into his store rill be shown in the film. , Many ideas of importance to merhants and clerk will be brought out uring the lecture. In other eomlunities where it has been shown, it as met with great enthusiasm.
