Miss Anna L. Sinkler left Saturday for her home in Eutawville after a visit to her sister, Mrs. Elias Prioleau. Mr. and Mrs. D. J. Gall man and little daughter spent Saturday and Sunday visiting relatives in Union. Miss Mildred Askew, who is teaching at Wedgefield, will spend the Thanksgiving holidays with relatives in Union. Miss Fanny Brown, kindergarten teacher at Monarch, will spend the Thanksgiving holidays with friends in Greenville. Cadet Louis Gilliam, of Clemson College, spent the holidays with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. D. Fant Gilliam, on South street. Mr. John C. Lawson, of South Boston, Va., was a visitor to Union last week. Mr. Lawson is connected with one of the strong banks in that city. Mrs. Davis Jeffries is in Columbia this week, the guest of her sister, Mrs. Herbert Burbage.
