Inman of, Kelton, Route 1, was a visitor to Union Tuesday. Mrs. Haddon Geer of Jonesville wsb shopping in the city on Monday. Mr. and Mrs. J. S. Going of Buffalo were visitors to Union Tuesday. Mrs. D. S. Pope of Columbia is the guest of Mrs. Macbeth Young on E. Main street. Miss Louise Faucette pent Saturday in Union with Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Estes. Mr. D. F. Minton and daughter, Miss Lillie May Minton, were visitors to Union Friday. Miss Scoville of St. Matthews spent the week-end with Miss Elizabeth Arthur on E. Main street. Misses Mary Flynn and Fanny Browne spent the week-end with Mrs. Julian Welch at Shelton. Miss Frances Belle Bolick of Fairfield is visiting her aunt, Mrs. W. B. r^sies, on uougiass Heights. Miss Mamie Duncan of Columbia is the guest of Mrs. Herbert Smoak at her home on East Main street. Mr. Ottis Going went to Spartanburg last week to put in a week coaching the WofTord football team. Miss Anna L. Sinkler left Saturday for her home in Eutawville after a visit to her sister, Mrs. Elias Prioleau. Mr. and Mrs. D. J. Gall man and little daughter spent Saturday and Sunday visiting relatives in Union. Miss Mildred Askew, who is teaching at Wedgefield, will spend the Thanksgiving holidays with relatives in Union. Miss Fanny Brown, kindergarten teacher at Monarch, will spend the Thanksgiving holidays with friends in Greenville. Cadet Louis Gilliam, of Clemson College, spent the holidays with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. D. Fant Gilliam, on South street. Mr. John C. Lawson, of South Boston, Va., was a visitor to Union last week. Mr. Lawson is connected with one of the strong banks in that city. Mrs. Davis Jeffries is in Columbia this week, the guest of her sister, Mrs. Herbert Burbage. Mr. Russell, it will be re membered, built the Union & Gleni Springs railroad and during their staj in Union made many friends. Messrs. B. W .Sparks and L. G Bishop, Miss Mattie Bishop, Miss Emma Sparks and Mrs. J. B. Estes motored to Spartanburg Sunday t< viit their sister, Mrs. J. B.
