SOUTHARD Whereas, it has pleased God to call from earth to heaven the soul of our William Oscar Southard, brother and charter member. Dr. William Oscar Southard, be it resolved: 1. That we, the Jonesville Baptist church, bow to the will of the Heavenly Father; 2. That we have lost a faithful charter member, whose death has left us sorely bereaved; 3. That in the death of I)r. Soutliard the community has lost a neighbor whose woi th cannot be estimated in words. 4. That the sick and afflicted have lost a friend who was unfailing in his ministrations. 5. That the State has lost a citizen who stood for the highest ideals in citizenship.
