Iiams. which occurred last FridK morning at bis home in Yorkvill He was county auditor for seve^ trims. He married Miss Thomas, daughter of the late Dr. V P. Thomas of this county. Mr Williams was a one armed Confederate veteran and was among the firat volunteers in the confederate army. A widow and two sons survive him. His eldest son, Lieut Geo. W. The interdenominational Sunday School Convention for jonesville Township was held at New Hope ' church yesterday. Mr. M. C. Gaulr. Township Supejrhitendentf called the convention to order and make an address of welcome, after which the convention was organized by the election of Hon. B G. Fowler, chairman and Geo. M. Fowler.
