He was county auditor for seve^

Williams was a one armed Confederate
veteran and was among the
firat volunteers in the confederate
army. A widow and two sons survive
him. His eldest son, Lieut
Geo. W. Williams, is now in th<
United. States Navy.

was a good one for the farmers and

Township was held at New Hope

convention to order and make an address
of welcome, after which the
convention was organized by the
election of Hon. B G. Fowler, chairman
and Geo. M. Fowler. Secretarv.
