Fant was in our town last week I visiting the schools and he reported fine schools and up to dato teachers. It has been mentioned by this correspondent before and 1 will say again that Superintendent Fant keeps a supply of school books in his office at actual wholesale prices, and how could teachers or anyone else sell them for less or who should want them for less. School b( oks have a burden; when they were sold at large profits, because it takes so many books to serve the schools, according to the modern mode of teach; ? T mg, ami i am not sure that its the best mode either, but we have got to be up-to date in everything bflfewc will be relegated to the rear. little niece of mine came by my house , the other day on her way to school and I noticed that she had quite a ( large sack of books and I weighed ;hem, they tipped the beam at 10J , sounds.
