' Miss Ixmlse Young entertained a ! few of her friends on Monday even- r ing. The feature was unique J it j consisted of a guessing contest, in which each guest tried to give the name of professional men's wives: r e. g. Two prizes were offered, one for the gentleman and one for the ladies; the former was j won by Prof. Clarence Edwards, the < latter by Miss Skinner. Among those ( present were Misses Katharine Skin- i ner, Blanche Morris, Blanche Garner, Bessie Townsend, Agnes Robinson, Sallie Hix, Bessie Yonng, Margaret Young. The gentlemen present'were ! Prof. Clarence Edwards, Dr. I. M. < Hair, Messrs. Renwick, Hunter, J. C. Copeland, Fred Garner, Roland Sealfe, Robt. Miller and Newton Walker. Delioious refreshments were served, and a most enjoyable evening j was spent. Although rain . was*fall- 1 Ing without, good cheer and happy 1 contentment reigned within.
