Occasionally the Christian timidly entertains a wish that he contd have seen Jesus in thc days of His earthly ministry, ile almost envies thc twelve disciples. Kc wishes he could have looked into the face of the Saviour ; could have beard him speak those gracious words, the like of which no other mau ever spake ; could hare seen him sit and talk in thc IIO?TO of Martha and Mary; could hav# witnessed his tnighty works, making thc blind to see trie deaf to hear, the lame to walk, thc dead to live.
