Letter from Sailers. Salters, Sept. 6.?We have had several days of cool weather, following the severe heat of the first few day.of last week, which was a great relief. Cotton is opening very fast, and picking will be in full force during the next week. Boll weevils are numerous and are doing considerable dam age to the late cotton. Mr. and Mrs. Muldrow and children, of Maysville, have returned after a pleasant visit to Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Montgomery here. Mr. and Mrs. Dan H. Stubbs and children, of Meridian. Miss., have returned after a pleasant visit to Mis. Mattie Ferrell here. Mr. A. L. Chandler and Miss Dora Graham, of Gourdin, spent a short while here Saturday with relatives. Mrs. D. T.
