Wood,'-President of the American Woolen Company, which closed its plant after being indicted for profiteering, says, that he believes the mills will be reopened early in September, for there are indications, he said, of a renewed demand for cloth. Mr. Wood said he believed the wholesale price of clothing this fall will drop. The clothing bought at wholesale at that season of the year is for the retail trade of the following spring.
