These scholarship men are in nearly all schools in the state and in seme far beyond its borders, studying in nearly all professions and callings. Monthly reports from the school back to the Columbia Y. M. C. A. office show that earnest work is being done, and good grades made by the most of the men. Clemson College has had the largest number, and agriculture has been a favorite study. The remaining $19,000 is available through county committees for fall and spring terms, 1920-21, bit must be awarded by the end of this calendar year. Counties which do not use their allotments by September will lose their amounts which will be distributed among active counties, unless assurance is given it will be needed by October. Committees please take notice. There are only seven counties: Abbeville, Allendale, Bamberg, Beau- | fort, Chesterfield, Colleton, Horry that show no awards to date. Thirtynine counties are actively usirg their j allotments, and two have finished-? Oconee and Lee.
